The 1st Annual Crosswinds Visitor Contest Begins
on Thursday, May 30th 2019!
I, your Contest Chair, have randomly split the club into (3)

Ok, the rules are SIMPLE:
- Each team will compete to bring in as many visitors as possible!
- Each team will receive 1
point for each visitor* they bring. A bonus 3 points will be
rewarded to that team if their visitor submits an application for
membership!

brings in a visitor, that visitor will be randomly selected to fall into
any of the 4 teams for extra points!**

Fort Dodge Armed Forces Speech Contest - May 16th
Changing Winds Toastmasters International Club is presenting the Armed Forces Day Speech Contest on Thursday, May 16th, 2019
Armed Forces Day celebrates and honors Americans serving in the five U.S. military branches following the consolidation of the military services in the U.S. Department of Defense.
The Armed Forces Speech Contest will include participants sharing their stories with us, at the Fort Dodge Correctional Facility (FDCF).
The event will take place on May 16th, 2019, in the Visting Room at 5:30 p.m., following Toastmasters protocols, and end at approximately 8:00 p.m.
All District 19 Toastmasters Clubs are invited to come and join Changing Winds at this unifying event!

Pathways Conference Call on Wednesday, May 1st
District 19 Program Quality Director, Theresa Mickelson will be
leading a conference call tomorrow featuring a 30-minute chat on Pathways by Joshua Matthews.
Pathways rolled out in District 19 last year on May 3, 2018.
76% of our Club Executive Officers have on-boarded and are on their way to completing their Level 1 in their chosen Path, or they have completed their Level 1. Our Officers/Leaders/Members have given their Icebreaker; given another speech and received an evaluation; then gave the same speech utilizing the evaluation comments; evaluated a speech, and finally, they have given the Researching & Presenting Speech to complete Level 1, just like that.
Did you know that you could request and give feedback in Pathways for fun!?!
